Why is the word N-E-G-R-O-I-D BEING REMOVED FROM Yahoo Ansers?

The word ******* is the type of racial characteristics just as Caucasian is or Asian is. But if yahoo is or has removed the word it is probably for a couple of reasons. One which is the misuse of the word and the other is political correctness.
