Is Religious Belief a Delusional Disorder?

I'm looking for scholarly studies and articles on this. Obviously because of the Politically Correctness of our country and society it won't be easy to find. Maybe some studies done with fMRI scans of the brain activity during religious experiences compared with that of a schizophrenic. Or the effect of the doctrine of hell etc. on children's relation with other students and their behavior when compared to other delusional disorders. Anything psychosocial, bio-psychological, etc.
