My Windows Live Movie Maker crashes every time I try to export a video, what's up?

I'm running on Vista, the video runs perfectly in the preview, I used wav and avi files. Once I export the file as an wlmp, it crashes, also is there a way to export in AVI? Thanks, I'll provide anymore information that is needed, I have researched the subject already to no avail.
